Kay A. Snapp was born on April 15, 1948, in Noble County, Indiana, to Madelynne and Richard Kemerly. She married her soulmate, Greg, in July of 1966. They had two children together in Kendallville, IN. before moving & continuing to build a beautiful life in El Paso, Texas. On Saturday, Sept. 8th, at the age of 70, Kay was called home.

Grace, strength, and love. Three words that encompass all she was in this world. She loved those around her fiercely and freely. She carried the hearts of her loved ones closely and tenderly. No matter the pain or hardships she may have endured in her life, she always had a smile to share. Her joy was contagious and her heart so pure.

She was and always will be a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She touched the hearts of everyone she met with her kind, generous, and loyal spirit. She was an upstanding friend and the cherished matriarch of her family. Her vivacious spirit brought so much light into the lives of those around her. She was truly a precious gift to her family and to this world.

She is preceded in death by her parents Richard Kemerly and Madelynne Parker, and her great grandson Silas Gast.

Kay is lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Greg Snapp; son, Todd Snapp; daughter, Lori Snapp; brother, Tom Kemerly; sister, Nancy Lung; in-laws, Barb and Bill Bryan, 5 grandchildren: Andrew Snapp, Jessica Snapp, Justin Snapp, Hayley Limas, and Ryan Limas; and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren whom she adored; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Perches Funeral Home – East starting at 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations lovingly be made to the Nation Kidney Foundation in Kay’s honor. Donations can be made here: https://team.kidney.org/campaign/Honoring-Kay-Snapp
